Step 1- Contact us about a photo session

Step 2 - Book the photo session 

Once you have booked your photo session, we will confirm the arrangements by email and also forward you some simple preparatory suggestions. We will include a short questionnaire so that we can better plan the session, including the number and ages of your grandchildren that will be involved and any special activities that you enjoy doing with them so that we can ensure that we capture these.  

 Step 3 - The photo session

Our photo sessions are informal, relaxed and great fun. They normally take around 1.5 hours (but best to allow 2.5 hours). 

We recommend that we take the photos at your home or somewhere that you commonly spend time with your grandchildren. This will not only mean that the grandchildren will be more relaxed but also that in the years to come, when they are looking at the photos they will instantly relate to the photos and the memories they invoke (e.g. “ yes, I remember that big red chair that grandpa used to read to me in and picking tomatoes with grandma in their veggie garden”). 

For similar reasons, definitely don’t feel that you need to do a super clean-up in preparation because it is all about capturing the reality joy of the special times you share with your grandchildren rather than being a stylised session for “Home Beautiful”.   

Step 4 – The photos being enjoyed for years to come 

Within two weeks we will email you a link to the gallery of your photos that you can enjoy and share with family and friends plus a slideshow if it is part of your chosen package.

These are important photos to be enjoyed for years and possibly generations. Therefore, a key component of Packages 2 & 3 is a professionally designed high quality album of a selection of the photos from your session, beautifully printed using archival paper and inks. After designing this album we will email you a digital proof for your input before printing.

If you would like us to include in this album some text from you or from your grandchildren, we would be delighted to do so but this would need to be supplied to us either before or at the photo session.
